The GCBL is the premier youth Travel Baseball League for the Chicagoland area. Volunteers for the Elk Grove Travelers run the day to day operations for the league. The Traveler's Board meets on the 4th Monday of each month. We encourage all to attend if you have any feedback for the GCBL. You may also provide feedback at the below link:

The 2026 Scheduling Dates:
Feb 24 at 7 pm (10U, 12U, 14U)
Feb 26 at 7 pm (9U and 13U)
Mar 3 at 7 pm (8U and 11U)

Registered Teams
GCBL 2026 Season
-Leagues for ages 8u through 14u will be offered by the GCBL for play in Gold (AAA), Navy (AA) and White (A) Divisions
-The GCBL registration fee will be $425 per team for the 8u, 9u, 10u, 11u and 13u levels for the 2026 season. The registration fee will be $475 for the 12u and 14u levels. This difference is the result of different postseason structures that are outlined below.
-Scheduling meetings will be held in Elk Grove the weeks of February 23, 2026 and March 2, 2026 with coaches setting their own schedules to fit their teams wants and needs
-League play will commence March 28, 2026 until mid June, 2026.
-League play will consist of 12-18 regular season games depending on league sizes.
-Playoffs for the 8u, 9u, 10u, 11u and 13u levels will consist of the two week playoff that was used in 2025. The playoffs will commence on Monday, June 15 at the home fields of the higher seeded teams. Championship Games will be held in Elk Grove sometime between Tuesday, June 23 and Thursday, June 25.
-Playoffs for the 12u and 14u levels will consist of a weekend tournament to be held in Elk Grove the weekend of June 12-14. These levels will play their playoff in tournament fashion to accommodate the 12u trips to Cooperstown or other weekend tournaments at the end of the season and the desire of the 14u level to wrap their seasons up as players prepare for high school camps over the summer.
